Margaret - hard lesson learned.DO NOT try to rush the hardening process on the MM..I put my most recent set of beads in a 200 degree oven thinking I could firm up the acrylic paint that seemed tacky after 24 hours (duh..100% humidity going on). At first they looked okay. In fact, it was a wonderful set of colors including a metallic black/gray but they got sort of spongey, squishable. Now, four days later, they are still soft. I doubt the painted finish, even sealed with acrylic, will hold up if the object under it is not stable.
